Disruption is outpacing human adaptability — leaving people and organisations disconnected from themselves, each other, and their sense of purpose.

At the heart of this challenge lies misalignment — the gap between who people are and what they do, between values and behaviour, purpose and performance. That space erodes trust, clarity and belonging, weakening the culture and systems that hold organisations together.

I’m on a mission to change that — to bring alignment back to the centre of human and organisational performance.
When people, teams and systems are grounded in a deeper awareness of who they are, they gain the clarity and coherence to evolve through uncertainty rather than be consumed by it. They reconnect with meaning, move with purpose, and build cultures that elevate possibility — where disruption becomes the catalyst for evolution, not collapse.

In a world that never stops changing, our agency sits in who we choose to become.

Foundations of My Work

Where lived experience, leadership and science converge to shape my understanding of identity, adaptability and performance.

  • In my fifties, living with Multiple Sclerosis, I turned that lifelong inquiry inward — choosing to test what I’d studied and taught by placing myself in extreme, high-altitude environments, including climbing to over 8,000 metres on Mount Everest. Those experiences became more than endurance challenges; they offered an unfiltered view of identity under pressure — how self-belief, purpose and connection hold when everything familiar falls away.

From that intersection of experience, leadership and psychology, the Identity Realignment Cycle emerged — a framework that helps people and organisations understand the inner process behind outer change: how we move through disruption, make meaning and restore coherence. Grounded in Positive Psychology, Narrative Therapy and Emotional Intelligence, it bridges research and lived experience to reveal the human forces that strengthen belonging, trust and collective performance.

In a world that is constantly changing, I share this work to help individuals, leaders and organisations recognise the patterns that shape identity and culture — so they can navigate change with clarity, connection and integrity, and stay true to who they are as the world they live in constantly shifts and evolves.

    The Identity Realignment Cycle

A practical framework for understanding change and restoring coherence in times of disruption.

At the centre of my work sits the Identity Realignment Cycle — a human-centred model of change that maps how people, teams and organisations move from disruption to alignment.
